Echoira is a musical project born from the idea of space perceived as a living dimension and as a sound place to inhabit. The name of the formation itself encapsulates this vision: Echorichiama reflects the phenomenon of sonic reflection against an obstacle when the distance of that obstacle is such that the returning sound can be distinguished from the one in departure; Chora, on the other hand, is a Greek name meaning "land," "country," "region," or "space"; traditionally it could have referred to the territory of a polis and its surrounding countryside, but in a more philosophical context, also the primordial space.
