Passion for drawing

The Drawing Cabinet of the Sforzesca Castle today houses over thirty thousand works on paper from the 15th to the 20th century, offering a privileged look at the history of drawing as an artistic, architectural, and experimental practice. The exhibition presents a selection of masterpieces drawn from the major collecting nuclei that compose the collection, tracing its formation from its origins in the 18th century to recent acquisitions.
