The rules, in plain sight
By using Fomoster you accept these terms. They're written plainly so you actually understand them. Fomoster is a project in a testing phase.
What Fomoster is
Fomoster is a personal project in testing (beta), free and non-profit: it is not a company. It aggregates events from public sources and offers social features to go out and meet people in Milan.
Acceptance
By signing up or using the service you confirm you have read and accepted these terms and the Privacy notice. If you don't agree, don't use Fomoster.
Minimum age
You must be at least 14 to use Fomoster.
Account and conduct
- You are responsible for your account and for what you post (messages, profile, photos).
- Respect others: no harassment, discrimination, hate, spam or illegal content. The Community rules apply.
- We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules or the law, even without notice.
Events: always check the source
Events come from public sources and are shown "as is": they may contain errors, be incomplete, change or be cancelled. Fomoster does not organise the events and does not guarantee their accuracy. Before heading out, verify date, time, place, tickets and requirements on the source's official site.
Venue owners and organisers
If you own a venue or organise an event shown on Fomoster and don't want to appear, you have the right to request removal: report it from the Report page, indicating the venue or event, and we'll remove it as soon as possible.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of availability, continuity, accuracy or fitness for a purpose. Being in beta, it may contain errors, change or be interrupted at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Fomoster and whoever runs it are not liable for damages arising from the use (or inability to use) of the service, from inaccurate event information, from what happens at events, or from meetings between people met through the app. Use common sense and caution, especially when meeting someone in person.
Your content
Content you post stays yours. You grant us a limited permission to display it within the service to make it work (e.g. delivering messages to the right people). Don't post illegal content or content you don't have the rights to.
Ownership
The Fomoster name, brand and site belong to whoever runs it. Event data comes from public sources, with a link back to the source; maps use data © OpenStreetMap.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy notice.
Changes
We may update these terms during development. Significant changes will be posted here. By continuing to use the service you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
